Creating a “Miracle Family,” by
Gary and Joy Lundberg
I have to admit, I have never thought
about testifying of the small blessings that Heavenly Father has
blest me with, let alone, to recite them to my family. I had to
download your song, even though I don't know how to read music.
I enjoyed the words to "Miracles Will Come." Thank you
for taking me down "my" memory lane — in remembering all
of the miracles that Heavenly Father has given me and my
family We, too, are a miracle family!! And to
think, I didn't even realize it!

I read your article on Meridian Magazine
and was impressed to share your talk and the music for our family
home evening. I play the piano but not professionally. Just enjoy
singing with my family around the piano. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! After I read your article
about becoming a miracle family, I realized I had been neglecting
to take some trouble to the Lord and let him take care of it. I
repented for all the energy I spent stewing and fretting when I
could have turned to the Lord first thing! My prayers were answered
quickly! I am very grateful for all the miracles, big and small
that occur in my life every
day.

Thank you so much for this music.
How thoughtful of you to have a free copy on your website.
Also thank you so much for your inspiring article. I really
needed to read that.

The Miracle of Temples

Sacramento Temple
Dedication: More Than Meets the Eye, by Maurine Jensen Proctor,
with Photography by Scot Facer Proctor
Thank you so much for featuring the
Sacramento Temple dedication in Meridian. We live in the temple
district and were able to help with the open house and hoped to
see the dedication, even if it was from the stake center. However,
we had received our mission call and reported to the
Provo MTC on August 28, 2006. We had
asked if it were possible to view the activities from BYU but we
were not able to make that happen. Your articles and pictures were
the next best thing to being there in person. Thank you so much
for the excellent coverage.

Miracles from Family History Work

The Heavens Were As Brass, by G.G.
Vandagriff
Thanks for a wonderful article.
I too have had similar experiences.
As soon as I submit and do the temple work for my ancestors, the
lines open up on those particular people and their families and
information starts pouring in.
I'm a convert, so I have focused my
work on my own family. My husband's family supposedly had all their
genealogy completed and temple work done, but I felt a strong need
to start looking at his family lines anyway. I have found many
surprising gaps in their temple work and other areas.
As we started to do their temple work,
more information started pouring in! And our living family members
are suddenly starting to take interest in each other and the family.
I don't know if this is an end result of the temple work being done,
or if we ourselves have changed because of our seeking out our family.
Perhaps our families on the other side are just working on all their
living family members; but the spirit whispers to me that it is
a little of each. There are little quiet miracles happening all
around us if we just look.

Grandparent to Grandchild Communication,
by Fay A. Klingler
This past week I have been pondering
and praying about communicating with my grandchildren. I asked
Heavenly Father what to do. Normally, I am a fairly creative person,
but no answers came — until this article popped up on my
screen. I loved all the ideas and I know my grandchildren will,
too.
One thing I did about a year ago —
I have one 6-year-old granddaughter who lives in Nevada (I live
in Wisconsin). We visited her (and her family) about a year ago.
I took all sorts of pictures and because I have a digital camera,
I let her take pictures, too. When I got home, I made a "book"
that told about our time together and included photos to illustrate.
I loved making that book, and my son said that his daughter wanted
it read to her all the time.
