you live in Arizona, Delaware, Maryland, New
Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Vermont,
Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Washington or Louisiana,
you are having a primary election in September.
Thomas
Jefferson's famous quote, "It is the people
to whom all authority belongs," rings loudest
as we approach Election Day. Our most powerful
voice in shaping public policy will be heard
at the ballot box by people like you and me. As
taxpayers and responsible adults we cannot let
another election year slip by without being
a well-informed voter — especially when so many
issues are at stake that affect the moral climate
of our society.
How
can you vote for candidates who support
your values? Answer: Before heading
to the polls on Tuesday, be sure to read the impartial
and non-partisan voter guides below. They
represent countless hours of research to make
it easy for you to be an informed citizen. The
voter guides report answers to questions or
surveys asked to all candidates or provides
the voting records of elected officials on specific
legislation.
