“Savior of the World” to be Performed in Spanish
“El Salvador del mundo”

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced that this year’s Latino Christmas program will be a Spanish version of the popular musical production “Savior of the World”

“El Salvador del mundo” (Savior of the World) is a musical production based on scriptural accounts of the birth and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The show features a cast of talented actors, singers, and musicians sharing testimony through drama and song of the divine mission of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world.

There will be three performances of “El Salvador del mundo” held in the Bountiful Regional Center located at 850 North 400 East in North Salt Lake. 

  • Friday, 4 December, 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, 5 December, 2:00 p.m. (matinee) and 7:00 p.m.

The event is free to the public, but tickets are required. Tickets may be obtained by contacting local leaders of LDS Spanish speaking congregations and Spanish speaking full–time missionaries are also distributing tickets.

There will also be two performances of “El Salvador del mundo” in Utah County at the Timpview High School auditorium at 3570 Timpview Drive.

  • Saturday, 19 December, 2:00 p.m. (Matinee) and 7:00 p.m.

The 2:00 p.m. matinee does not require tickets however the 7:00 p.m. performance does require tickets. Tickets may be obtained for the 7:00 p.m. performance by contacting local leaders of LDS Spanish speaking congregations and Spanish speaking full–time missionaries are also distributing tickets.
