FAIR Conference to Address LDS Issues
SANDY, Utah — Reaction to "Mormonism" during the recent presidential bid of Mitt Romney has surprised some people, but apologists know that anti-Mormon sentiment is alive and well. The upcoming FAIR Conference is a great way to become informed on new topics that are being discussed.
The 10th Annual FAIR Mormon Apologetics Conference August 7-8, 2008, at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah covers wide-ranging topics sure to please every interest. FAIR invites you to join them for a frank, thought-provoking, faith-building, and enjoyable experience.
Mike Ash, author of Shaken Faith Syndrome, will lead off the conference. Other speakers will address issues of Book of Mormon geography, Joseph Smith's DNA, the Book of Abraham, Joseph Smith's translation, the story of black Mormons, and other issues which have raised questions among critics.
The full FAIR announcement of the conference, with registration information and schedule of speakers may be accessed at http://www.fairlds.org/conf08a.html .
Early registration, before July 25th, will include a catered lunch. Registration after that day, including at the door registration, will not include lunch. Other features of the conference are a bookstore and a silent book auction.
