Two Musical Headliners to Entertain
KENSINGTON, Maryland — Two internationally acclaimed musical artists, Marvin Goldstein and Sam Payne, will emcee a summer evening of humor and music, which will appeal to the whole family, at the Washington D.C. Temple Visitors' Center, Friday, June 20, 7:30 pm. Joined by other East Coast performers, the two headliners promise a great show, which is free to the public.
Marvin Goldstein began his musical training at age nine and by 18 was awarded a music scholarship to Tel Aviv University School of Music in Israel . He continued his formal training at the famed Mozarteum of Salzburg, Austria, and completed his education with Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Florida State University. Performing all over the world, he has been listed in the Who's Who in Music in Europe, Cambridge, England.
As a songwriter and performer, Sam Payne, the son of troubadour and actor Marvin Payne, has played stages from the jazz clubs of Tokyo to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Many audiences identify with the original music he composes.
This event is free of charge and the public is cordially invited. The Washington D.C. Temple Visitors' Center is open from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm daily and is located at 9900 Stoneybrook Drive, Kensington, MD 20895. For further information and directions, call 301/587-0144.
