Remembering Gordon B. Hinckley Event at Washington D.C. Visitors' Center

KENSINGTON, Maryland — Maurine and Scot Proctor, founders of Meridian Magazine, will be speaking at 7:00 p.m., Sunday night, June 1, at the Washington D.C. Visitors' Center and showing a DVD, Gordon B. Hinckley, Temple Builder: Upfront and Personal .

This is in conjunction with a photo exhibit, “Remembering President Hinckley,” that is on display and continues through mid-July.

With camera and pen in hand, the Proctors have had a front-row seat on many significant and moving events as they have followed President Hinckley to temple dedications and youth celebrations around the world. They even went with him into the White House, where he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Poignant stories mark the DVD and will remind the audience of the prophet we have known and loved.
