Who are These Amazing Youth Anyway?
Sacramento Outtakes One, Part 2

By Scot Facer Proctor

Editors' Note:  With your help in sending in the names of these wonderful youth in the last two days, we have placed a number of captions on the pictures below.  Please help us fill in all the rest of the blanks.  You wouldn't want one youth to be left out, would you?   If you can help us identify any of the youth below (who have not been identified) please click here .

If you just joined in with us, we’re trying to caption the following pictures (as well as the ones in Part 1) with who these youth are and where they are from (and where they are going?). Please help us figure out the names of the youth, what stake they are from and then please let THEM know that they are being featured on Meridian Magazine.

If you’re not sure what to do, please click back to Part 1 for instructions, otherwise, let’s keep moving.

Finale of the Challenge Dance. Youth from four stakes were involved in this segment: Sacramento Cordova, Carmichael, Sacramento East, and Sacramento North.

Photo #12

Rob Kroff, Stockton Stake , who served on the creative committee and wrote one of the songs ("Who am I?") with his wife, Ria.  He played the part of Azariah's Father in the production.

Photo #13

Spencer Borup (played "Azariah"), Rescue Ward, El Dorado Stake.

Photo #14

Still no response on this photo.  Who is this young woman?  Please help us.

Photo #15

Playing the part of "Elizabeth" was Savannah Argyle, Gerber Ward, Elk Grove Stake.

Photo #16

Paul Allen is one of the funniest people on the planet.  However, his sense of humor is very dry...and some people actually think he is serious.  Suggested caption from one Meridian reader:  "Do you see that left thumb?  I would give that thumb if any bass can sing the right note."

Photo #17

Far left young woman is Bao Her, Pacific Rim Branch, California Stockton Stake.  Don't yet have the names of the other youth (please send them in), but the Irish/Chinese/Asian/Russian dancers and drummers were all from the Elk Grove Stake and the Sacramento Stake.  The Hmong dancers were from three wards/branches - one from Sacramento Stake, one from Sacramento North Stake, and one from Stockton Stake, but the kids actually are scattered all over the place.  We'd sure love to know who these other young women are!

Photo #18

Irish Dancers from the Sacramento & Elk Grove Stakes.  Second from left is Katie Bianchini.  Rachel Suggs of the Sacramento Stake is right in front on the right.  Tongan girl behind Rachel Suggs is Elizabeth Mailau of Laguna Creek 3rd Ward - Sacramento California Stake.  Behind Katie B. 3rd on left is Alicia Lytle from Laguna Creek 1st Ward - Sacramento California Stake.

Photo #19

From a Meridian reader:  "I know the brunette boy in the middle (front and center) is my son, Matthew Hodgson.  The tall pretty brunette behind him is Kellie Deaver."  The girl on the far left with the braids is Emily Shields, Rocklin 2nd Ward, Rocklin Stake.

Photo #20

Kaitlin Hancock (immediate foreground) played the part of Sarah.  Far left, back row, Savannah Argyle (Elizabeth), Spencer Borup (Azariah) and Josh Morgan (Historian).  Irish Dancer, green shirt, left of Kaitlin Hancock, is John Tinney Of the West Sacramento Ward, Sacramento Stake. Can you still help us identify the other youth in this picture?

Are you willing to caption even more pictures?

Click over to the next group (Part 3) and let’s stay steady.
