The choir for the first dedicatory session was together and
ready long before the members were to go in. I looked among
them and there was Mary Cowart, the musical director of the
youth jubilee the night before. Right before I took the picture
I saw her through the lens and said, “Oh, hi Mary!”

It wasn’t long after I took the picture of the choir that the
Prophet arrived and walked right by them. He was his usual
amazing self—all 94 years and 11 months worth. What an amazing
example he is to everyone.

The busses were arriving one by one from all over central and
south Texas. The people were full of anticipation and gratitude.

It seemed like wherever I turned there was a wonderful picture
to be taken. Here a beautiful daughter and her father pose
for me.

This beautiful family would stay through the coverstone
ceremony, pose for a picture by the coverstone
and then likely went in for one of the dedicatory sessions.

This little baby was pure fun and was delighting all.

David and Cleo Gibson of Laredo were here early for the coverstone ceremony. Cleo sang in the choir. Five of the
six children (Elyssa, Kyle, Elayna,
Jared and Jacob) performed in the youth jubilee the night before.
