President
Hinckley always invites some little children to participate in the
event. Elder Emmanuel A. Kissi looks on.
“Who
me?” Little boys wonder if the prophet is pointing to them.
It
takes a heave-ho to get the primary child over the railing to answer
President Hinckley’s call.
The
completion of a temple is a joyous event.
Elder
Emmanuel A. Kissi is an Area Authority Seventy who joined the Church
in England and could have stayed there to form a lucrative medical
practice. Instead he chose to return to Ghana specifically to strengthen
the Church.
It
took this kind of cooperation to build a temple in Ghana.
President
Hinckley asked this little boy to come up and represent the rising
generation, keeping the memory of this dedication bright in memory.
President
Hinckley said to the boys, “Do you think you can do it? Sure you
can.”
