Pearl Award Nominations for Best Faith-Centered Music
The Faith-Centered Music Association is pleased to present the 2008 Pearl Awards finalists. The awards dinner will take place Wednesday, November 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the new Gordon B. Hinckley Alumni Center at BYU.
- The list of nominees was derived from more than 300 entries, which were reviewed and voted upon by a nominating committee of professionals representing various segments of the industry. Up to 5 nominees in each category were selected to be voted upon by the FCMA membership.
- Due to a high volume of qualified entries, the board of directors has expanded the Compilation Album category into two categories this year: Contemporary Compilation and Inspirational Compilation.
- Due to an insufficient number of entries in the category of Sacred Recorded Album, that category has been eliminated and/or consolidated with other categories this year.
